How to Prepare for Your Appointment
Ten minutes of prep at home can save an hour in the chair — and gets you a better result.
Come with hair detangled and free of heavy gels, creams or oils. Product build-up has to be stripped before we can braid, colour or install, and stripping eats into your appointment time.
Bring reference photographs — two or three, ideally on hair texture close to your own. Photographs tell us more in ten seconds than a paragraph of description does.
Be honest about your colour history. Box dye, henna and previous bleach all change how your hair responds. We would rather adjust the plan than discover it mid-service.
Eat before long appointments. Braids and colour corrections run for several hours; there is tea and water in the studio, but a real meal beforehand makes the session easier.
Arrive on time, and leave a buffer. A 15-minute grace period applies, after which we may need to shorten the service to protect the appointment behind yours.
